Frequently Asked
Pooper Scooper Questions
Not at all. Most of our customers aren’t home when we complete their service. As long as we have clear, accessible entry to the yard, we’ll take care of everything for you. Our goal is to make the process as convenient and hassle-free as possible so that you can go about your day without interruption.
Pet waste is more than just an inconvenience – it can carry harmful bacteria and parasites that pose risks to both pets and people, as well as the overall health of your yard. Routine cleanup helps maintain a cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable outdoor space for families throughout Pierce County. It also saves you time and effort, so you can enjoy your yard without the unpleasant task of scooping.
Yes! We love meeting dogs and are happy to work with friendly pups. As long as your dog doesn’t jump, bite, or otherwise make our scoopers feel unsafe, they can remain outside while we service your yard.
For the safety of our team and your pets, we reserve the right to request that dogs be brought inside if needed. Each situation is evaluated individually.
Yes, we are experienced in servicing a wide range of yard conditions, including those that are more overgrown or challenging. We’re happy to take on these types of properties and will complete the cleanup to the best of our ability based on current conditions.
However, for ongoing service quality and safety, we do ask that any significant overgrowth, standing water, or other hazards be addressed as soon as possible after our visit. Maintaining a manageable yard environment allows us to provide more thorough, efficient, and consistent service moving forward. In some cases, heavily overgrown or obstructed yards may require adjustments to scheduling or pricing to ensure the work can be completed properly and safely.
We always make every effort to treat you property with care and respect. Our technicians work carefully around landscaping features, garden beds, and plants while completing service. We aim to minimize disruption and ensure your yard is left just as we found it, only cleaner.
To keep our service reliable and running as efficiently as possible for all customers, we do not offer specific days or time windows. Instead, we carefully plan and optimize our routes to maintain consistency and high-quality service across all locations.
While we’re unable to guarantee an exact day or arrival time, you can count on your service being completed as part of our regular routing schedule. This approach allows us to stay on track, minimize delays, and ensure every customer receives dependable service.
We operate in most weather conditions typical of the Pacific Northwest, including rain and light snow common in Washington. However, in cases of severe or unsafe weather, a scheduled visit may need to be delayed. Your safety and the safety of our team are always top priority, and we will reschedule your service as soon as conditions allow.
Yes, absolutely! We do not require long-term contracts, giving you the flexibility to pause or cancel service at any time. If your pets won’t be using the yard for a period, simply let us know, and we’ll make the necessary adjustments.
No problem at all. If you add a dog to your household or have a visiting or foster dog staying with you for an extended time, just let us know! We’ll update your service details as needed, including any rate adjustments to account for the additional waste.
Yes, we provide service throughout the year to help keep your yard clean in every season across Pierce County. We continue working in typical weather conditions, such as rain, light snow, and mild temperatures, to maintain consistent service.
However, please note that we may not operate on certain holidays. In those cases, your service may be adjusted or rescheduled to ensure you still receive reliable care. Our goal is to provide dependable, year-round service while also allowing for necessary scheduling flexibility during holiday periods.
Yes! We take sanitation very seriously to protect both your pets and our team. All tools and equipment are treated with a kennel-grade sanitizer between each yard. This process helps prevent the spread of bacteria and ensures every visit is completed with the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
All collected pet waste is securely double-bagged and placed in your designated trash receptacle. At this time, we do not remove the waste from the property. This approach keeps the process efficient while ensuring your yard remains clean, contained, and odor-managed.
Your initial service, including any first cleanup and your first month of service, is billed upfront. The first month is prorated based on your service start date. After that, ongoing invoices are issued on the first of each month and are due according to the terms outlined on the invoice. To maintain uninterrupted service, accounts should remain current, as services may be paused if a balance becomes overdue.
